AR Aged Receivable Report

Purpose:

This report lists your receivables by Client Id. Aging is as of the Aging Date that you enter relative to the Invoice Date of the invoice.

Report Description:

Receivables are grouped by Client: the following information is listed for each outstanding receivable:

 Invoice Id  Invoice Date  Date Due
 Aging Intervals: 0-30  31-60  61-90  Over 90  Retainage  Description

Report Options:
The Report Options selector pane controls how the report will be output. Click Report Options to learn more.

Range:
Enter a unique, alphanumeric name to save and identify your customized report Range. Ranges are defined by the contents of the ID field(s).

Hint: You can create user-defined report ranges that are available to all users with access to that report. To do so, the first character of the named range should be an asterisk. Named ranges beginning with an asterisk will appear on all users' report ranges options so that they can be selected (but not altered) by any user with access to that report. Only the user that created the report range is allowed to alter it.

Aging Date
Enter the date you want the report aged by: press the Spacebar to enter today's date, or double-click on this field to access the Calendar viewer to enter the date.

Minimum Aging Days
The minimum number of days that an item must be aged to appear on the report. For example, to exclude receivables of 45 days or less from the report, you would enter 45 in this field.

Aging Basis: Invoice Date Due Date
Select the basis for computing aging by double-clicking on the radio button adjacent to the desired option.

Client Id:
If you only wish to list receivables for a specific Client, enter the Client Id. Several Clients may be listed by entering their Id's separated by commas (Acme,Megahome,Zorro). A range of Clients can be defined by the first and last items of the range separated by an underscore (Megahome_Zorro).

Job Id:
You can list the receivables for a specific Job by entering its Id. Several Jobs can be specified by entering their Id's separated by commas (1005,1007,1020). A range of Jobs can be defined by the first and last items of the range separated by an underscore (1010_1015).

Invoice Id:
You can list the receivables for a specific Invoice by entering its Id. Several Invoices can be specified by entering their Id's separated by commas (1005,1007,1020). A range of Invoices can be defined by the first and last items of the range separated by an underscore (1010_1015).

GL Account Ranges
An AR Control Account may be entered to limit the report to the AR Control Account specified in Sales Journal entries.

Lines:
This informational field displays the number of lines per page for this report under the current font setting.

Multiple Fields
You can optionally enter Id's in more than one field. Items will appear on the report only if they fit all the criteria set in the ID fields.

Example: Assume the first ID field is for Clients, and the second is for Invoices. Let's suppose you set these fields as follows:

databasics0001_databasics9999

1004_1020

A receivable will appear in the report only if its Client ID is within the range databasics0001 to databasics9999 and if the invoice number is between 1004 and 1020.
